En aktivitetshelg om DIY och autonoma utrymmen

På väg till European Social Forum i Malmö? Kom förbi Cyklopen i Stockholm helgen innan, 13 – 14 september.

På många håll i Europa pågår diskussioner om autonoma utrymmen och husockupationer. Vi ser att repressionen ökar samtidigt som vi ständigt försöker öppna upp nya utrymmen och försvara gamla. Erfarenheterna som görs sprids bland annat på InterSpace mötena, nu senast i Berlin.

Vi vill fortsätta de diskussionerna och andra som också bygger på DIY (gör det själv) principer, exempelvis hur vi hjälper varandra bearbeta trauman. Därför vill vi bjuda in till två dagar av diskussioner och workshops, 13 – 14 september (ni kan hänga kvar fram till ESF i Malmö). Vi vänder oss till er som är nyfikna av frågorna och till er som redan är organiserade och vill utbyta erfarenheter och till er som har konkret praktisk kunskap som ni vill dela mer er av.

Det kommer finnas boendeplatser och folkkök. Om ni har dåligt med pengar men gärna vill komma så hör av er så försöker vi ordna med reseutjämning. Skicka en intresseanmälan så vi vet hur många sovplatser och hur mycket mat vi ska ordna.

Under ESF mötet i Malmö kommer vi ha tillfälle att fortsätta diskussionen, fredag 19 september kl. 14 på allaktivitetshuset Utkanten.

Löpande information liksom en önskelista på praktiska saker vi behöver hjälp med kommer att läggas upp här.

A weekend of activities on DIY and autonomous spaces

Are you going to the European Social Forum in Malmö? Drop by Cyklopen in Stockholm the weekend before, 13 – 14 September.

In many parts of Europe autonomous spaces are being discussed and squated. We see the repression mount while we continously try to open up new spaces and defend old ones. Experiences and knowledge are being shared at InterSpace meetings, the latest being held outside Berlin.

We want to continue those discussions as well as others that are based on the principles of do it yourself, for instance on activist trauma support. Therefore we want to invite you to two days of discussions and workshops, 13 – 14 September (you can stay until the beginning of the ESF in Malmö). We adress you who are interested in or curious about these issues and you who are already organized and you who have practical skills you want to share with us.

There will be places to stay and cheap vegan food. If you don´t have much money but want to attend the weekend, get in touch and we’ll try to equalize the travel costs. Let us know if you plan on coming so we know how many sleeping places and how much food to arrange.

During the ESF in Malmö, there will be a radical assembly held on squatting and social centers where the discussions continue. This takes place friday 19th September, two pm, at Utkanten, Industrigatan 20.
